AV Turbo Instructions **************** This is a speed enhancement attachment. It includes built in special effects and features. Key Features :- Increase your avatars movement speed both in flight and on ground. Adjustable. Leave particle trails and motion trails behind you when you move. Add your own sound and animation, or turn both sound and animations off. Customize the color of the motion trails or turn them off. Select a particle texture from the built in options or apply your own particle textures. Quickly move to another AV and stand on there head in one click. Quickly move to the position of your camera with one click. Instructions ********* Two attachments are included the main attachment is the AV Turbo attachment. There is also a HUD included for convenient control. The AV Turbo attachment by default should attach to your right pec attachment point. (NOTE it has been orientated so that the trails are left behind smoothly. I recommend you right click on the item in your inventory and select wear to attach it to this point. If you wish to use another attachment point you may need to adjust the positioning of the attachment on your AV for it to look correct when in motion) On the Hud are 4 buttons:- To CAM - Pressing this will move your AV to your current camera position (This will not work across sim boundary’s and very long distances. It will also fail if obstacles appear in your path) You can also trigger this function with the command in chat '/1tocamera' To AV - Pressing this button will bring up a menu of AVs within your area. When you select an AV from the list, you will be moved instantly over to them and land on there head. ( As with the To CAM option, this is dependent upon no obstacles being in your way, and you being in the same sim.) This command can also be launched with the chat command '/1toavatar' Speed on/off - This button will turn on/off the flight/ground speed enhancer. When it is switched on your will move quickly. Options - This will bring up the options menu containing various options (see below) Options Menu (available via the HUD button, or say '/1options' in chat. *********** speed - This item in the options menu simply reminds you of the chat command you use to adjust the speed at which the AV Turbo attachment will move you. The command in chat to adjust speed is /1setspeed [number] where [number] is a number value. The default value for this is 50. particles - This option will display a sub menu that allows you to turn on/off the particle effect or select from one of the built in particle fx options. You can apply your own custom particle texture using the command in chat... /1customparticle [texture uuid] where [texture uuid] is the uuid of a texture in your inventory. trails - This option allows you to turn the motion trails on and off, and alter the color to one of the build in options. If you wish to use a color that is not in the list you can also change the color of them manually using the normal secondlife edit controls. I have left the attachment modifiable so this should not be a problem. sounds - This option allows you to turn on/off the sound effect anims - This option allows you to turn on/off the built in animation Using your own animation and sound ***************************** If you wish to use the animation and sound when you move, but would prefer to use your own instead of the built in ones, this is easy to change. Simply drop the AV Turbo attachment on the ground, right click on it and select edit to go into edit mode. Then in the contents delete the current animation and sound, and put your own inside. You can only use one animation and sound . If you put more than one inside the objects contents, it will be ignored.
Additionsal Commands ****************** When you are using the HUD, you can use the commands :- '/1hideturbohud' and '/1showturbohude' to move it out of the visible screen area without detaching it.
