Dance HUD for Geisha Fan Dancing This is a new approach to dancing in Second life. Fed up with dancing like a zombie? Want to express yourself through dance? Want to correograph dance sequences in a particular style? Abranimations Ineractive Dance HUDs are the solution! Bringing more fun into the Second Life dance experience. The dance huds have been carefully designed so you can dance how you want to, performing dance moves when you want to. Simple attach the HUD and you will see a series of buttons. Pressing the buttons can turn on/off options and perform dance moves. The dance moves can also be triggered through chat allowing you to set up dance sequences in a gesture. ** The HUD Controls ** The pink buttons at the top are for your background dance. This plays continuously when active as a background groove. The large start stop button at the side of them will start and stop your dancing. The large blue buttons are the special dance moves. They have been designed to sync as smoothly as possible with the background grooves. If you change animations in the middle there can be jerks, but with practice you can improve your dance. You will find some combinations of moves blend into one another better than others. Additionally the HUDs contain the following buttons Automatic Dance Modes :-
Random Shuffle Dances - this will play the background dances continuously randomly changing them every so often.
Automatic Special Moves - This will play the special moves automaticly in a random order
[These options are great if you want to chat etc yes still dance] Sync with another HUD - This allows you to sync with another person wearing a dance HUD of the same type. You do not require permission, so it is quick and simple to sync in and out with them. This is great if you want to perform a dance sequence with someone drifting in and out of sync with them. Please remember to be considerate to other people. As this does not require permission, you will need to be sure they do not mind you following there dance steps. Invite/Remove a guest - You can also have up to 4 people who do not own Dance HUDs sync with you. They will be asked for permission to be animated before they can follow you. When you click this option it will bring up a menu with bnames of people around you. Selecting them will send them an invite. If you select there name a second time, they will be removed from the dance group. They can also issue the command /99stop when nearby to you to stop. ** choreograph dance using gestures **
It is possible to use gestures to choreograph dance sequences. To do this you need to set up a sequence of commands in the gesture with wait pauses between them. Included with this pack you will find an example gesture with a sequence set up inside.
