This JukeBox is for controlling land streams on Land that you own.
** Controlling the Jukebox **
Touching the buttons on the left and right sides of the cd changer window will scroll through the streams you have set up in the jukebox. Touching the jukebox with briefly display the current stream playing. You Can also use these commands in chat. listtracks - This will list all the tracks in the jukebox with there track numbers playtrack [track number] - This will skip the jukebox to the track with number [track number] and play it. Touching the jukebox will briefly display the name of the track playing, and simple instructions on its usage will be given to people who have permission. The permission can be left open for anyone to change station/track, or it can be restricted to a group.
** Restricting Jukebox Control To A Group **
First you must set the jukebox to a specific group. To do this right click edit on it, and wher it says group click the 'Set' button and select the group you wish to have access. Once you have done this you can use the chat commands :- grouponlyon - sets access to group only
grouponlyoff - opens access up to everyone to change streams Only the owner of the jukebox can use these commands. The group members will only be able to access the jukebox controls when they have there group active.
** Adding streams to the jukebox **
Inside the jukebox is a notecard you can edit called songlist.inf Drag this notecard into your inventory and open it up. You can add 1 stream per line. Each line has two values seperated by a comma (name,url) The name can be anything you choose to represent a stream, the url is the link to the stream. Once you have edited the notecard (make sure there are no blank lines at the bottom of the notecard) you can replace the one currently inside the jukebox. To do this right click edit on the jukebox, delete the notecard inside (make sure you have a backup of this before deleting) then drag your new one from your inventory into the jukebox whilst holding down the ctrl key on your keyboard. The jukebox should now reset itself to load the new notecard, If it does not reset say 'reset jukebox' in chat to manually reset it. Please note, although anyone can move a notecard into the jukebox, it will only replace the current 'songlist.inf' notecard, if the one previously inside is deleted first. It will give a warning about breaking the object, you can safely ignore this message. ** Operating the jukebox on group land ** The jukebox needs to be owned by the land owner for it to be able to change the land stream. As such if the land is group owned, you will need to Deed the jukebox to the group.
** Playing Individual Songs in the jukebox **
If you have mp3s you would like to play as Songs in the jukebox, these do work in SLs land streaming. You will need to upload your mp3s to some webspace somewhere and use the urls to them in your setup notecard.
