Reason - Gatling-type 3-mm hypervelocity railgun system v2.0

Price: 2 000 L

This gun is based on the gun of the same name described in the book Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. (If you havnt read it yet, its a great read for any Secondlifer)

The gun described in the book fires depleted uranium at high velocity using a magnetic force to propely the ammunition. The gun described in the book is extremely damageing and effective. This gun in secondlife, is equaly damaging and effective. It fires approximatly 20-30 shells a second. It keeps fireing while you hold the left mouse button down. Charges included are No Harm ( still works with health pack system), low power and hi power. Also it includes phantom bullet mode, which is extremely dangerous and will go through most of not every shield.

There is probably no shield in SL that can withstand this weapon.

** Touching the gun suitcase brings up the options menu. **

Arm/Disarm - This will bring the rail gun up into the aiming position ready to fire.
(The default when attached is OFF, this is because you can fire REASON when not in mouselook. It defaults to off to save accidents. You are advices to disarm reason at every point you do not intend to use it)

Help - Will display this notecard, if you need a reminder of how to operate the gun.

CMoves On/CMoves Off - This will turn on and off the built in 'Cool Moves' animation overider. This has smooth animations for walking, running, jumping, falling, crouching. It will enhance your game creating a much
more cinematic feel. The main gun features recoil and other animations as standard which merge with the Cool Moves
animations to bring your av to life with the style of a fps game.
( There is a special function in this which allows you to jump slightly higher than normal. To do this you must crouch down before jumping. The longer you crouch the higher you will jump. There is a limit to the height however.)

Antishield - This is a high push and kill phantom bullet setting, this will go straigh through shields, and hit
target, pushing them and cause damage.

Antimatter - This is high push and damage, upon hitting an avatar it rezes gibs.

No Harm - This will make the gun harmless. It will still fire, but the bullets will do no damage
and have no push on the avatars it hits. This is an advisable mode if you are using the health
pack to have a fight with friends. The health pack will still keep Hit Score.

Low Power - This is a low power setting which will cause the bullets to cause slight damage
to an avatar in damage enabled areas, and give them a slight push.

Hi Power - This is a hi power setting wich although not fatal, will push and damage an avatar
considerable. For full damage use the anti matter option.

Extras - This brings up another menu for testing the special effects. that menu allows you to try the steam, electrical, fireing, and uranium canister ejection.

**~** Health Pack **~**

The Included Health Pack is for people using this gun and compatible products to play fight with a scoreing system. More compatible products will follow.

Instructions :-
i) Attach the health pack to your AV.
ii) To start it will be visible, if you touch it it will become invisible and health set to 100%
iii) Health will go down when you are shot, upon reaching zero you will die and the healthpack will become visible again.

If you want to reset the healthpack during the game say '/1 die' and you will die. You will then be able to touch the healthpack and start fresh. As this technicle is possible in the middle of a game, it is advisable to have a certain degree of 'Honor' and not cheat. The health pack is not a complete gaming system, it is designed simply as a fun alternative to make combat more practicle.
