Animation Overriders Help - How to set up an Animation Overrider
An AO or Animation Overrider is a device you attach to your avatar that replaces your avatars default animations. AOs can be loaded with animations you have created or purchased from third party vendors. This page has lots of information and help to get you started with your ao.
Getting Started with an abranimations ao
To use your hud, right click on it in your inventory and select wear. You should then see the HUD on your screen. If it does not appear check that it has attached to a hud attachment point, and not an avatar body part. Also check that 'Show HUD Attachments' is checked in the view menu at the top of your SL client.

abranimations info/support button This button provides information about abranimations, and a link to the support website. On this website you can find help and tutorials to help get started.
load settings notecard This button will display a drop down menu with the names of the settings notecards inside the ao. Clicking on one of the notecard names will load it into the ao memory. If you make any alterations to your aos settings notecard you will need to do this before it will play any new animations you have added to it.
options menu This menu contains various options and settings you can adjust
Reset - resets the ao Settings - displays the current ao settings Next Stand - Go to the next ao stand Help - Display the ZHAO help notecard TypingAO - This will turn on/off the built in typing ao. TypingKill - If your ao plays the default typing animation over your stand animations this option can be used to stop the typing. Load - Load settings notecard Walks - Display the walk selection menu SIT - Display the sit selection menu STAND - Display the stand selection menu
select walk animation If you have multiple walks loaded into your ao, this button will display a drop down menu allowing you to select the walk you wish to use
zhao instruction notecard button This button will display the standard zhao instructions notecard
select sit animation If you have multiple sit animations loaded into your ao, this button will display a drop down menu allowing to select the sit you wish to use by defauly.
select ground sit animation If you have multiple ground sitting animations loaded into your ao, this button will display a drop down menu allowing you to select which ground sit animation you wish to use by default.
previous stand/sit/ground sit button This button allows you to scroll to a previous stand and sit animations in your ao. (please note stand animations will automatically change as well) next stand/sit/ground sit button This button allows you to scroll to the next stand and sit animations in your ao. (please note stand animations will automatically change as well) sit on ground now button This button allows you to play the ground sitting animation in your ao without actually physically sitting on the ground. Normally the ground sitting animation plays only when your avatar sits on a land terrain surface.
ao on/off button This button will turn your ao on/off
minimize/maxmimize ao button This button will compact your ao down so it does not take much screen space. It will keep the on/off button visible, and the minimize/maximize button visible.
