SLURL TO DEVILS MOON BATTLE ROOM

I'm currently working on thr combat evolution quests on my sim Devils Moon. A part of this project is the NPC battle room that opens today. This is a training room for people that use my range of combat evolution weapons .

If you are not already familiar with combat evolution, it is a grid wide melee combat game in Secondlife. There are free demonstration versions of the combat HUDs for you to try. Copies of these are available in the new battle room along with full version weapons you can purchase for 995L each.

Devils Moon is the Combat Evolution HQ - There is a friendly role play community on Devils Moon that can help you get started with the combat evolution HUDs. You can take part in regular events and take part in the various activities available on the sim. I am currently working on the quest aspects of the game which were always intended to be the key component of the game. Due to the time involved this has unfortunatly progressed slowly. This is well underway now though, and will be ready in its initial form very soon. I willl blog more about this when the initial quest offerings are ready for launch.

For now though I want to introduce...

The Combat Evolution NPC battle training room

SLURL TO DEVILS MOON BATTLE ROOM

This room is available for anyone to use and is intended as a training ground and or battle arena.

A Plasma Lazer system in the room does C.E. damage. These have a variety of controls that can be configured via a wall panel.

The sequenced buttons allow for a sequence of beams to trigger accross the room, these must be avoided by the player. Upon collision they will do damage.

The static buttons will trigger a fixed grid of plasma beams that do damage.

The Hunter button will trigger a plasma cannon that will shoot at avatars in the surrounding area.

The room also has rezzable drones with customizable health, power and speed for you to hone your fighting skills against.

Multiple drones can be rezzed at once by clicking on the rez button on the drone control panel. They will target only the avatar that has called them.

The above image is the control panel to rez the drones. There are various options to change the health, power and speed of the drones. Each drone is tagged with a level code which will be registered on the website against a kill. The points scored for killing drones remain the nominal NPC score level.

The KILL DRONES button on the control panel will kill all the drones in the room, but no points will be awarded.

The plasma beams will do damage to drones as well as players, all points scored for plasma beam drone kills go to me :)

I plan to add more features to this room over time.
